Flackies Meats of Lutterworth is based in the small Leicestershire market town of Lutterworth which is just off juction 20 of the M1 between Leicester and Rugby. Owned in parnership by Malcolm and Julie,Flackies is a family run business established approx 20 years ago.
We have established a loyal customer base and have always adapted to changes within the trade. Quality, service and awareness of customer demands is our key. In our shop you will always find a good fresh display set out in a traditional style. Wherever possible we sell locally produced meat, we also cater for the more exotic tastes!
Beef We prefer to sell Locally sourced wherever possible and all beef is hung to a minimum of two weeks for the fore quarter and three weeks for the Hind Quarter, ensuring flavor and tenderness. We do have a demand for Scotch meat and Devonshire, so these and much more is available on request, butchered by us to a very high standard.
Pork Free Range, young and succulent. Rare breeds from local farms often available, again butchered to the highest standards.
Lamb Quality English and occasionally Welsh lamb, sourced locally wherever possible. NZ and Australian lamb is available for a cheaper option.
Poultry We offer Free Range and 'RSPCA Approved' Chickens and animal welfare is high on our consideration when sourcing poultry. At Christmas we sell Lincolnshire fresh and Dried frozen turkeys, the volume of orders each year is proof of their quality. Duck Breast and Chicken Fillets are a big seller.
Training Available We are fortunate in Claire Grudgings to have a qualified trainer and we are registered with the Chartered Institute of Environmental Health as a Training Centre for Level 2 Food Handling, so if any of your staff require this qualification we are able to offer this service also. We offer very good rates and can accommodate your time scale, just let us know your requirements and we will gladly give you a quote. Clare works in the shop daily so relates easily with other shop/catering workers when taking the course and so students get a much more understandable response when asking questions. |
